If you are here then you probably are interested in knowing what assisting with NLP World is all about.

Firstly, the value you can expect is the same as when you took part in an NLP course; it's a transformational space and you will have the chance to set your own goals for being here.

Our assistants tell us that being here was as powerful, if not more so, than when they took their Practitioner course. Of course alongside all of this you will be reminded of all the techniques of NLP, Time Line Therapy ™ and Hypnosis.

We normally set up the room the day before and have an assistants meeting to create a fantastic space for the participants to come into.

If you ever wondered why our courses work so well and why the rapport In-NLP-terms,-the-ability-to-gain-trust-with-anther-person-quickly-through-the-u level is over average, then you will see why after knowing what we (and you of course) have been doing in the background.

You can choose if you come for the whole event of if you can make part of it. We prefer if you can make the first four days, yet let us know and we will see if there is symbiosis in your dates and ours.

Being part of the NLP World network can be very beneficial; you will be working alongside people who have been in this genre for over eleven years and have worked with the Cabinet Office Whitehall, the Education department, and many blue chip companies.

Here are some of the roles you may be playing with the next time we see you here:

7 Day Practitioner

Before the course starts

(The trainers usually do this bit). Phone all participants to find out their intention an-invisible-power-or-strength-that-is-behind-every-action for the course. Find out what they want and to create rapport and to know you are here to look after their needs in the run up to the course, (Terry will give you the telephone numbers if you are doing it).

Coach them to think BIG!

Brighton Before The Course

Find out parking places and the cost. National Car Park (NCP) £8 for 24 hours on the special scheme with the Belgrave Hotel.

Name Tags for everyone, including assistants (not needed for Terry...., see him, heard him for over 30 hours on CDs)

Timings worked out with Terry or the trainer. Make sure that you have the timings of the day before we start. You will keep the timings of the course and the exercises. We will be excellently on time.

7 pm Friday Before The Course

Manage meetings with assistants before the course (the trainers lead here).

You and Terry will look at who we have on the team and see how we can use their abilities to the maximum in the course.

Arrange coffee and tea with the hotel. The Belgrave give us hot water at source in the cafe area. Make sure we have sufficient milk (we are responsible not anything to do with hotel), biscuits (nice ones not rubbish), sugar or honey, and teas and coffees.

The person doing teas and coffees to make sure that hot water is available at least twenty minutes before scheduled break. Breaks may come early and water stays hot for hours!

You are responsible for hotel liaison, (check who else is because we don't want to ask them again and again for same thing) getting rapport with the staff and sorting any "stuff" out with them.

The relationship with hotel is very important. Treat them like they are Gods/Goddesses and if there's a problem, let the trainers know and we will sort it out.

During The Course

Before the end of the day, be clear about the homework for people before it comes to the end of the day, and to have it on a slide for them. Give me a sign 15 mins before end or another way if it's easier. Sign may say "what homework?"

During the course they will come to you for anything that they need, logistically. The physical elements are important so as far as possible give people what they want.

Always keep your state; we are demonstrating coaching (I may use emotion to get a participant to see or do something and your role is to keep a good state at all times).

Assisting meetings during the course: We may have a meeting at start of day or at end (or both). Keep the sharing to the point and honest... get in... get out.

Every break come and ask about feedback Feedback-in-NLP-is-the-results-of-your-being-able-to-reflect-on-your-last-action about timings to trainer.

One assistant to be responsible for timing the section. Check with trainer to find out what his/her timings are:
