Presenting magically with NLP Presentation skills

One of the major fears in people is public speaking, presentation skills or presenting themselves to others in any context . The art of fine communication and platform skills is one of the most rewarding gifts you can give to yourself toward personal development and change!

When we first started delivering NLP Presentation skills trainings in 1996, we had no idea how little top class training was around.

Now in 2007 we look around but still cannot see much improvement in the standard that other companies get away with, whether it be through audio, MP3 or CD/DVD tutorial or presenting courses or training.

What you should expect from an NLP World presentation skills (we call it advanced, yet that includes our training style so it's ok if you are new to presenting)training is a day that you and your staff will remember forever as fun, challenging and ultimately rewarding to your company and to your staff.

Some of the people you may recognise who have used NLP to present themselves and get noticed are Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna, John Grinder, Anthony Robbins and Derron Brown.

But that's all about them! The difference you will find with NLP World is that we can guarantee the result you will get after we agree what you need from the day.

We are so confident you will be satisfied that you cannot lose anything from booking us today, so simply call our team and find out how you can use your valuable training budget as effectively as good seeds in good soil.

We also include presentations in our NLP 14 day Master Practitioner course

The kind of skills you will be trained in are as follows:

How to gain group rapport and how to use your energy from the front of the room to influence people and stay connected to them.

We also show you the process called Hakalau (from Hawaii) that allows you to stay uptime and be aware of the group and information you are getting from them. The Hakalau also allows you to control your state at all times no matter what is happening around you.
Some people think that's hypnosis or hypnotherapy and there are some semblances, yet the Hakalau is something different.

We also teach you how to negotiate easily through using your body language in presentations.

When it comes to the structure and sequence, you will need some way of keeping your audience brain alive for as long as a few hours sometimes. When we run our 7 day NLP practitioner course or 14 day NLP Master Practitioner courses, we have techniques where we keep minds alive and kicking for over 70 hours!

One of the tricks of keeping minds interested is the 4 mat system, which will make sure your training appeals to all the different types of brains in the room. Then we show you how to use open loop metaphors to use instructions in the disguise of story (but also have cliff-hangers that keep brains interested until completion of story).

We show you the Satir categories that use your body to give your audience all the information it needs (without words), and how to ‘Anchor' states of the audience to your body and use them in a Pavlovian way (from anchoring techniques, Ivan Pavlov 1903).

If any of this seems complicated, the trainers guide you through the training with grace and humour making things easy to understand and learn easily.

We also provide pre-study CDs so that your team and yourself can utilise valuable time outside of the training room and cut down on lost hours at work (if you so desire).

There are a few types of people who naturally can present magically, the rest of us need some techniques to make our messages fly.

Please feel free to talk to us about presenting magically or download our fantastic MP3 set now!

Even the 2 CD or MP3 Presentation set alone will show you the systems that make anybody deliver the most amazing presentation you could imagine!

Hi - I'd like to know a little more about Hakalau: I've done loads of research in to this field (well, it's my job as a trainer!) but the only references i can find for Hakalau are for the place, not any such 'state of mind'.

It sounds similar to the Second Circle of Presence (cf Patsy Rodenburg) - is that right?

Thank you for the question Simon.

Hakalau is also called "peripheral vision", or "The Learning State". It's origins thousands of years ago, so I imagine it's got quite a few new names as well!! It's the state of complete awareness, so there can be no negative emotions when you are truly there. Martial artists used it to defeat opponents, and now top athletes can use it to improve performances and even trainers to keep "present" to the room and not go off in your head (not you of course Simon). Better experienced than talked about though. I have produced a NLP MP3 or NLP CD called "Supreme Relationships and Trance States" which includes how to induce the Hakalau in yourself and how then to use it.
