NLP Practitioner - a way find the Secrets of life

Written by Terry Elston on November 27th, 2007

When people take an NLP practitioner course, some believe that they are getting a toolbox full of techniques and tools: That's true in one sense. Yet the most powerful result that you can have is a change in your inner world, and you can keep the change!

Think about this: You can do all the positive thinking in the world, and look at yourself in the mirror for ages to tell yourself how great you are.......but! If your inner world of beliefs In-NLP-a-belief-is-a-series-of-decisions-that-eventually-add-up-to-making-a-stro do not reflect these thoughts, the inner beliefs will win, leaving you as a very positive person on the outside, but eating up inside. That's why when we run the NLP practitioner course, we know that you'll come away with some techniques and ways of working with others, but we also know that you will have learned something that no book or CD could give you; a change inside.

This inner game is what makes our NLP Practitioner the most memorable you can find. You'll have a week to play with the tools on yourself as well as with others, including the tools of Time Line Therapy a-process-to-travel-though-time-and-re-arrange-past-events-and-issues™ plus Hypnosis a-state-where-you-can-uncritically-accept-suggestions-for-yourself-or-others too!

In our opinion, there are some of the most valuable change tools on the planet and you will be immersed in them for a whole week!

When you look at the notion of "change", what do we mean? Do people really change or do they just become more free?

It has been said that every time you visit a memory it changes in some way. Whether you take that literally or not, visiting memories gives them a chance to have more association areas in your mind. The more associations you have then the more flexible you will be and therefore seemingly changed.

All the tools inside our week long course allow you to revisit any areas that have been stuck in any way.

I remember being a boy of 4 years old and being taken to an exhibition with my mother. Inside this exhibition was a boxing ring with a grown man inside. He beckoned me inside, but I thought he really meant we would have a fight - and ran off crying!

Now, of course I forgot all of this and went off through my childhood and through my teens...but there was always something niggling at me about my prowess; my status as a man, my ability to hold my own in a tough physical situation. Now this is more of a boys thing, but usually even with boys you get it sorted out when you are younger and it's not an issue any more. You know how tough you are and where you stand - you've learned about these things.

In my case this went on through my teens into my twenties and then thirties...I always had the issue in the back of my mind somewhere, for instance if I saw some guys coming down the street what would happen, would I beat them. It even spread out to friends; if I had a disagreement with one of them, would it turn nasty?

When I was about 36 years old, something told me I needed to get fit. That feeling took me to a boxing training center where I started to do the boxing training, still oblivious of the earlier incident.

Then it came time to start sparring and in the early stages, I got my nose broken! You may say this was unlucky but that bump on the nose jumped me right back to the incident when I was four and I remembered everything, in bright technicolour.

In those few seconds, I understood and learned all there was about being a man, fighting and all the related issues that I didn't get before. It was a life changing moment, yet we all have those opportunities every second, every minute, every hour of the day.

The other beautiful thing about this story is the way that your guiding inner world (some call in the unconscious Unconscious-in-NLP-is-that-of-which-you-are-not-conscious,-or-which-is-out-of-co, others the higher conscious Conscious-in-NLP-is-that-of-which-we-are-currently-aware. mind) will give you pointers, reminders and even kicks to attract you to places where you can eventually understand and learn about those trapped memories.

That took me 30 years. On the NLP Practitioner course, you can visit many of your own events and release those old places to find your own freedom.

Although the course is not actually about your self development and self growth, you will have every opportunity, if you wish to take it, to have these experiences.
