NLP Training - Relationships

There’s a few things we need to talk about before we broach the delicate industry of relating.
Let’s just look at the word itself. The ancients would splice letters and words together that held various meaning, the same way we make a meal from various ingredients; each ingredient holding a value and then changed when introduced to other flavours.

The 'RE' in the word relationships would stand for light or sun (often the word RA has the same meaning), the letter L extended anything that came before it, ION was the early name for atoms (which we use for time now as well) and then there was a ship, a vessel to hold it all and travel.

So there’s a whole new take on relating! Sunlight atoms or energy in a vessel for travel. So what is being in a relationship for you? Comradeship? Sex? Partner to have fun with? Love to share?

The great thing about being a human is we have so much choice and there’s nothing wrong or right. We’ve earned the right to do what we want with our lives and there’s no judgement on that apart from your own. There are a few clues here though. The word itself and what happens when we meet appropriate partners;   I know every time I met a woman who I wanted to be with, my energy went through the roof!

Remembering that we are all magnetic beings, we have polarities inside us. The same way a generator works with objects spinning in opposite ways, we seem to relate to opposites apparently to induce energy fields or creativity. You have the choice to do this positively or negatively.

The scenario of a woman meeting an abusive man to work out the relationship with her father is an example of a negative energy loop.  It still may work, yet there could be plenty of damage as well.  A man could marry a woman because she reminds him of his mother and all the incompletions there are outstanding. Carl Jung said a similar thing. He said we marry our unconscious mind; meaning what we are working on, on the inside, we project out and work on it with others.

If you are aware of the patterns, then at least there is a chance of working on these positively and finding partners who can assist you as mirrors of feedback and have some fun with it along the journey of light or ‘enlightenment’.

So can we say then that apart from the obvious carrots or fun and sex, we seek each other out to create creative energy fields that serve to enlighten us by various different means? Well it may be a big chunk to chew as you look across at a prospective partner, yet that’s what’s possible and more!!

The notion of human creation comes from a garden and Adam and Eve. With simple minds, that’s just a physical story that you can believe or not. If you look at that story with a more abstract mind, you can see a garden as a context and two opposites working together in that garden or field. That could easily be a story of how natural forces work in the world.

OK so what’s this all got to do with you finding the right relationship? Well first of all, knowing why you want a partner is crucial. You could waste years of your life because you didn’t even know what you are doing with someone. Ask yourself three questions:

1)    Does this person attract me in a positive way?

2)    Will they assist me on my journey in life?

3)    What can and will be created from being together?

If you can work out what you are creating next in your life, even in a small way, you can find out why certain people are coming your way. Being magnetic beings, you’ll attract people who have something to do with your future and the conscious and unconscious patterns you are working on.

Being patient is about knowing what plants or seeds you have already planted in the field or garden.  Would you interrupt the process of a young seed to see how well it’s doing by plucking it out of the ground? No, guess not. The same way it’s good to be patient and know that you will attract partners to assist you on your own journey, the one you planned a long, long time ago, while you were still learning the lessons of all the past relationships that bore you fruit and understanding. The only real relationship is the one with yourself and i mean the self that you can’t see, the bigger one. We choose others to see ourselves better, the better the partner, the better the reflection. On the physical plane that makes for amazing sex, comradeship fun and creativity, including babies and money!

If you want to hear more on relationships and relating, we have an audio product called Supreme Relationships and trance states.

There are exercises to release old patterns in 'realationships' as well as a free download of a live day workshop.
